Narration: An aspiring Presidential Candidate of the Convention’s People’s Party, (CPP) Bright Akwettey says the CPP will take permanent sovereignty over the country’s natural wealth and resources when given the chance to lead the country. He said since the country adopted the new constitution in 1992, political parties that assume the reigns of government have failed to change existing laws empowering foreigners and private companies to take total control over the nation’s endowed natural resources, describing that as unfortunate. The return of the CPP, he assured will see to it that such laws are reformed to make it beneficial for both Ghanaians and investors. He spoke with our Upper East Regional Correspondent, Isaac Asare for Radio Ghana.
