Dr. Nduom assures Ghanaians of better living conditions

The Presidential Candidate for the newly formed Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Paa Kwasi Nduom has reiterated his commitment to improve the welfare of the citizenry when giving the nod as president in the December polls. According to him, majority of Ghanaians are not experiencing the better Ghana agenda promised Ghanaians ,adding that most people living in deprived communities are still living in abject poverty, whilst a few are able to afford three square meals a day. Mr Nduom made the pledge when addressing enthusiastic interim party executives and supporters at Bawku in the Upper East Region.  He said the PPP has come at a better time and is poised to change the fortunes of Ghanaians, particularly the poor and the vulnerable. Dr. Nduom who just broke away from the Conventions People’s Party (CPP) after long battle of leadership reaffirmed his party’s resolve to ensure the revitalization of the economy   and called on the support of all well meaning Ghanaians to rally behind him to achieve his set objectives. PPP Dr Nduom further stated will see to it that all Ghanaians irrespective of ethnic and party affiliation are brought on board to contribute to the development of the country, hence, an all inclusive government. On education, Mr Nduom promised Ghanaians that his party when giving the chance to govern the country will ensure that every child is nurtured through school and noted that his party has plans of establishing schools with enough teaching and learning facilities to improve the incessant academic decline in the country. In the area of health,  Dr.  Nduom expressed determination to fight malaria to the latter because malaria, he explained still remains the leading cause of death not only among pregnant women but children under five years. Dr Nduom later appealed to Ghanaians to help in the maintenance of peace in the country, stressing that without peace the country’s quest to attaining development will be a mirage.
