U/E records incident free in the ongoing BECE


 Upper East Regional Director of Education, Jane Sabina Obeng, has expressed satisfaction about the way the Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates have conducted themselves at the various examination centres in the region.

She urged the candidates to continue abiding by the rules governing the exams to enable to come out with flying colours.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Mrs. Obeng attributed the successful start of the exams to the numerous sensitization programs organized by the various district directorates of education.

She lauded the efforts of all the teachers in the various schools for guiding their students to abide by the rules governing the exams.

She called on the teachers to also abide by the new measures WAEC has put in place to eliminate any form of examination malpractices.

The region for this year presented twenty thousand, 704 candidates.
